Kamikaze is translated in Japanese as 'Divine Wind' During World War 2
Kamikaze pilots took part in suicide attacks principally on US Aircraft Carriers
in the Pacific.These pilots were to be the 'Divine Wind'that would sweep the
enemy from the seas.The Kamikaze pilots undertook these attacks in the full
knowledge that their mission would end in certain death.This costume is an
exact replica of the suits worn by the Kamikaze pilots in WW 2.
